I am..

I am young and optimistic
I wonder how my life will turn out
I hear music playing always
I see life as gift
I want to live life care free and happy
I am young and optimistic

I pretend to be happy even when I'm sad
I feel love from my family and friends
I touch the Lord when I pray
I worry that I'll never make a difference in the world
I cry when I'm hurt and upset
I am young and optimistic

I understand everything happens for a reason
I say God has a plan
I dream of growing old with the one I love
I try hard to be the best student I can possibly be
I hope for the best
I am young and optimistic
