inductive and deductive reasoning, and why we need them!
Deductive reasoning uses facts, rules, and definations. Inductive reasoning uses numbers of specific examples to arrive at a plasusible generalization or prediction. Why I think we need both is, because deductive reasoning is knowing facts and rules. We need to know facts and rules to learn. We need inductive reasoning, because if we use numbers or detailed examples to learn specifically what things are.
